Sometimes neighbors are tough. When I was a kid our neighbor across the street would come out and take pictures of me and my friends when we were playing basketball in our driveway. But she never threatened us with a circular saw or anything.
In LAKEVIEW TERRACE, Samuel L. Jackson plays a really, really difficult neighbor to Patrick Wilson and Kerry Washington. Threatening behavior, mean words, scary stares… all the stuff Sam Jackson does best.
But they can’t go to the cops ‘cause… oh snap Samuel L. Jackson IS a cop!
This movie looks passable, but you have to agree that this is a perfect role for Jackson, and he looks like gives a good performance. In my opinion though, this would have been a better dark comedy.
